To the victor goes the spoils. Well, as one of the best teams in the country (read that line again...it's true), GT is in a position we hardly ever find ourselves in: The spotlight. We're getting written up in national media outlets, ESPN did an entire segment on us today, and everyone wants to talk to CPJ. This is a good thing for the team, the program and the school. Schultzy wrote a pretty good piece today about it:

CPJ has some good thoughts on it. My favorite is this:
“There’s a point where you come to understand (the situation),” said Johnson in an introspective moment (yes, it happens). “Georgia Tech is a unique place and it’s a special place and it has so many great attributes. What I try to do is get our guys to embrace what we are rather than worry about what somebody else is. You’re not going to be them. It’s not set up the same. The school’s not the same. The fan base isn’t the same. Now that doesn’t mean you can’t compete with them and beat them. But you’re not them.”
Embrace who you are. Love it.
People like winners. Hope all this attention doesn't go to our players' heads. Battling complacency, and other programs poaching our staff is the next step. I think we're set up to be one of the top 20 programs for the next few seasons if we can keep our heads about us.
