Agreed. Never made sense why they weren’t playing there.

In fairness to the staff, it may also been a "want to" issue. Players still have to agree to move, and some players are adamant about wanting to play certain positions.

Willis, a 4 star DB that was committed to us, was coveted by other schools at LB. We got his commitment because we had a plan at DB for him...a position he wanted to play on this level.

I think Juanyeh will make it in the pros. He is easy fast enough and they like guys his size these days at DB since the pro WRs are mostly Godzilla clones. If nothing else, he'll do as a return specialist. Give him a hole and good things happen.

Thanks for your time at Tech, Juanyeh! You were always a favorite of mine!

I will be really interested to see his times. He didn't seem as fast as a senior as he did earlier when he was lighter. However, he might be deceptively fast. The entire secondary seemed to be chasing the DB's this year instead of running with them.

It's his stride. He's big and, even when he's at full speed, he doesn't look like he is moving all that fast. But … you're right; he may have lost a step since he put on some weight. But that's easy to take care of.
