Perhaps time to reiterate, that I love Cremins. Wish we had another coach like him. But I would still rank his Xs and Os as the weakest part of his game. He was a perfect ten in every other way, recruiting, personality, media relations, motivation, enthusiasm, winning mentality etc.

I had never noticed a college team having trouble doing that until the last few years of Cremins. Hewitt doubled down on those troubles and I began to wonder if it was a "Tech" thing.

Xs and Os weakness was the popular rap on Bobby, but I vividly recall one game against UNC where Bobby out-coached Dean Smith during the game. From that time on, I had an even deeper respect for Bobby as a near perfect all around coach.
