Did some checking....the cut is defined as top 70 plus ties. So he has currently made the cut.

Nice job by Christo to hold on and make the cut. Rough day today, but looks like the only amateur to make the cut, so will be assured of receiving the Silver Medal as long as he doesn't have to withdraw before finishing the tournament. Still a huge accomplishment.

That is one tough course if you don't drive it straight. He needs to get his driver under control. Even with decent shots it can be unfair at times. Glad he made the cut. It will be great experience for his future.

We have to replace three really good players from last year's team. We got a nice boost recently from a top junior out of California who had originally signed with Southern Cal. Need a couple of guys on the team to step up and join Christo and Tai for another good season next year.

Great accomplishment for Christo. I am sure he is disappointed that he didn't play better but lots of top pros didn't even make the cut. He can look back with pride for being the low amateur in the 2023 Open championship.
