You don't have to petition for a 5th year. Every player has 5 to play 4. You petition f or a 6th.

Interesting question that doesn't really make a difference is I don't know if the petition for a 6th year is also a petition to have the year where you were injured not count against the 4 or if that year is an automatic redshirt and you are just petitioning for a 6th year to use the eligibility you already have.

Hope he gets back next year - we need him. Whatever happens, I've always felt he gave every effort on every play. It's all you can ask of anybody.

Scholarship OL that are not ATL unless something changes going into Temple weekend:
  1. Brad Morgan medical'd before the season
  2. Charlie Clark has been out for every game
  3. Mikey Minihan was not active last weekend
  4. Scott Morgan was not active last weekend
  5. Jahaziel Lee now done for the season

Connor Hansen had been out all year and finally returned last weekend to ATL.
Kenny Cooper was lost early in USF game but returned last weekend to ATL.
