In his defense, one of the wins was vacated, so he is technically accurate.

I know. There's no way he'd say "UGA's seeks its first national championship since Carter was in office." Seems like such an irrelevant fact, especially given the context.

True, but I'm uncomfortable with the AJC picking and choosing which NCAA decisions they respect in their reporting. Typically, the AJC says something along the lines of "Tech's 2009 ACC championship, since vacated," or something to that effect. I can support that, because it presents the fact that we won as well as highlights the awful NCAA decision to vacate it. I'm still waiting on them to reimburse me for attending a game that apparently never took place.
