At this time, the brain says, 4, the heart wants the 9+ but would be begrudgingly happy with 6 this year. Yes, that's after sitting at BDS through the last 3 years of 3 won seasons.

People shouldn't comment until at least after fall camp. We don't know who's well, who's injured, anything. To guess now is stupid and worthless. Just fodder for argument. If this turns bad, I'll have to "ignore" the OP so I don't ever see this thread again.

All preseason predictions are just for fun. Even “serious” sports publications that predict who the top teams in the nation are going to be do so because readers find it fun to speculate and this generates more clicks and more eyes. And it’s fun.

Tech fans are having much fun right now. Doubt this thread will impact that one way or the other.

Look, if we are going to abuse somebody here, let's stick to Collins. We should leave our wives out of this. A lot of them - mine, for instance - could care less anyway.

I voted four wins and I think that is probably a bit optimistic. The combination of massive staff changes and inexperience could lead to much worse results. We could win 6 with the breaks going our way for once and the coaches staying out of the players way, but I doubt this will happen.
