I've talked to some "folks" very close to Haynes. Not to say that he wouldn't leave, because money talks, BUT according to these "folks," he LOVES Brent Key and he LOVES Georgia Tech. It's home. I can't imagine he would leave. I could be wrong, but I get the impression that he loves it here and wants to be here. Take it for what it's worth.

sportskeeda? wtf is that?

Honestly, how do y'all even find these nonsense articles and tweets by absolute nobodies?
I don't know where it came from, but it also showed up in phone's "topics I follow" thread. I almost had a heart attack! I blocked that source for future reference.

I saw this article and a couple of others. I don't think these people pay a lot of attention to GT football. Some articles were insinuating that HK would transfer because he was splitting snaps with other quarterbacks and that would clear the log jam for us at the position.... There was no mention that the only reason that snaps were split in the first place was due to injury.

I wish I could put as much effort into stamping and desigining plans as some "reporters" put into the research of their articles.

I bet it's just an AI generated article on social media (or through targeted ads) that is made to generate ad revenue or possibly contains malicious links. I posted earlier this year on one I saw. I knew it was fake as the article had disappeared and nothing was reported anywhere else for about 6 hours before I posted here but I was just curious if anyone else had seen it or something like it. Apparently other posters had seen basically the same article with different players listed that were "reportedly transferring".

I agree…
I have a few friends and coworkers who I consider to be far more “in tune” with college football in general than the average fan and they were all watching the Miami game amazed by Philo and assuming that King had lost his starting spot. Fun part is that a couple of them are UGA fans who had some “oh $#%+” realizations last Friday about how good our QB situation is. Suffice to say I doubt that even the most avid fans pay attention to that level of nuance outside of their own team.

Philo may be the future, but it's still King's starting position to lose.

I doubt King is strongly considering the portal unless some big school whispered some big NIL paycheck.
The odds of another school throwing a huge bag at him are pretty low. Its too big of a risk with his injury history. I don't see any scenario where he leaves unless he is just really unhappy, which there is currently no evidence of.

He doesn’t like losing very much.
