I'm really interested to see how CPJ answers the question in this thread title.
On offense, I suspect we'll see more Belly, Belly Option, Midline Option, and Speed Option than we've been seeing. We've been running a lot of our base triple (Inside Veer). I think Tim ran a midline once against Alcorn St. We ran a speed option once with Marshall against Tulane, iirc. We've run a belly some, but I don't think we've run a Belly Option (a double option with the A-Back after the B-Back takes feints the Belly dive and becomes a blocker). I think it would be funny if we didn't run the inside veer at all in the first half.
On defense, I'd like to see us try and get in the QB's head with shifting coverages from pre-snap to post snap. I expect to see more creative pressure packages than we've seen so far this year from our DL. I wouldn't be surprised if Jabari looks to anchor the line and spy the QB up the middle. If he can control his gap and get off the blocker well this week, it will be a huge sign for the upcoming season.
