I take these as positive signs.

I have heard he’s got a personal/family situation that’s recently changed. That would be the only factor that could possibly pull him away from GT.

I don’t want to be the message board rumor-mill guy and all I have to go by is the word of a friend (who is a recent GT player) so I won’t be specific, but if it’s true and if he would leave for the sake of that then I’d 100% get it.

Again don’t want anyone to panic since I am confident he will stay. He’s as loyal to GT as it gets. I debated even pressing the reply button on this.

Really I just posted this to say, let’s be careful complaining about money/disloyalty/etc. when 1) he is the sitting leader of this team and 2) none of that has been shown to be in Haynes King’s character.

A lot of these announcements are for the benefit of recruits/portals either coming to GT or seriously thinking about coming IMO. Today I would not want ot go to a school that did not have a good QB situation, QB has always been important but in todays CFB you better have a great QB situation or you're dead in the water.
