I thought some of my fellow NBA fans on the board might be interested in this. The Hawks home opener is the night of GT's Homecoming vs. UVA (Nov 1). The game starts at 7:30, which is about the right time to get from GT to Philips if the UVA game kicks off at 3:30. Tickets are significantly reduced (as low as $15 in the 200 section & $39 in the 100 section). There will be pregame, halftime, and post-game concerts including T.I. and other local artists. All fans that arrive before 6:45 get a $10 voucher to use at the concessions. All fans also receive a free t-shirt.
