As DC Semore was actually good at Valdosta State, with just a couple let downs. I understand he isnt our DC but I think this is a good hire. What else did we expect? I wouldve liked to see a true QB coach, but I am okay with this.

At first blush, I was hoping the real problem was the guy had no idea how to properly spell Corey Dennis

Collins' bed is made now. Guess we'll see if it passes inspection when the Sgt comes through.

The only problem I have with it is that Semore is just the linebacker coach and not the DC. If that indeed is the case.

This. I‘d feel much better if they were flipped. Thacker has done nothing in 3 years to show he could maybe have a competent defense.

No, the hire is fine. Keeping Thack as D coordinator is bigger issue. (and Collins’ thought process on the D side changes). With that said, Collins should get to decide his own fate.
