Has the hype been humbled?

We knew it would be a struggle this year , but this is still embarrassing , we’re in a power 5 conference & cant complete a pass

The hype is still there and should be. We are an option team on the rebuild, most of these guys last played a pro style offense in high school and are facing the no 1 team in the country . Was this game embarrassing , sure but in no way should it determine the season or judgment on the coaches. If we were this bad against a cupcake team id be worried. This game unfortunately showed us nothing on offense to which is worrisome but again we got all season to get it right . The real test on the coaches and players is not letting this one game get to their heads.

Yes we have no QB that can throw the ball. That should not be shocking. You ignore recruiting for some many years it bites you

We have two 4 star QBs and arguably the best passing QB of the last 12 years in Johnson (including the QBs left by Gailey). Yet, we are playing the only non-passing option QB and running him in the slowest, least decisive option sets out of shotgun.

Nah, thought we would get ruined but foolishly hoped/believed we'd look more competitive than we do.

Still more hyped on the program than I have been in a while and think we're trending the right direction. Just need to continue to build the brand and get great talent to commit here.

We played the best runner in a game where we couldn't pass block or get separation.
