I wanted to wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful for many things, but one of them is getting to enjoy GT sports and discussion with all of you!

It was great to meet @AUFC in person this year, and to read @ClydeBrick 's GameDay posts, and to see @Ramble1885 's videos and upbeat optimism. I'm even appreciative of the chat giving me a place to vent.

I smoked two turkeys yesterday. Today is a simple meal of turkey sandwhiches and my world famous curried turkey soup.

Tomorrow we head out of town for a big get together with my wife's family. She will have 4 of her siblings and their spouses and their adult kids. All of them are Dwag alums and fans. I had one BIL who also was a Tech alum but he has passed. I am going deep into enemy territory but this will not be a covert operation. I will be wearing my Tech gear. Drinking lots of scotch. Annoying the **** out of those people. Pray for me and wish me well. If this happens to be my last post, you will know what happened. I have no regrets, have had a great life and even better dog, and apologize to those here whom I may have offended. Go Jackets!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all! I have a lot of things to be Thankful for this Thanksgiving. One of those is to be able to share ideas and opinions with my Georgia Tech friends on the Swarm!!

I am most thankful for spending Thanksgiving at home with my family, unlike my four Thanksgivings as a Tech basketball player and many years as a soldier, and unlike the families of many of our athletes and soldiers not spending Thanksgiving at home with their sons and daughters. I wish them all the best Thanksgiving as possible.
