While everyone is offering an opinion as to the stars rankings or number of stars bestowed on High School Recruits in conjunction with the proposition that GT needs more 4 and 5 stars recruits, all that matters is that the coaching staff just brings in Football Players. I will always trust the judgment of an experienced coaching staff to evaluate talent since that is the cornerstone for their profession.

Hopefully this article regarding the # of stars received out of High School by the players in the NFL Pro Bowl will offer some insight into the old adage that: you are either a football player or you're not. Stars just offer an interesting viewpoint for everyone to discuss as they agonizingly compare and contrast recruits.

Just look at the Senior Bowl today. The kids that look the best out there are from smaller schools. Now of course there's not much participation from SEC schools because they all leave for the draft as juniors or "their career ends from injuries" by the time they are seniors but still.
