Thank you, brother CincyMet Jacket, for getting us back on track. Was beginning to wonder if we needed a new thread for news & the games.

FSU softball is #12 and they are playing our team tomorrow at 11 am and 1:30 on the ACC Network(Friday at 1 pm too, before Beesball). WBB is on the same channel and Richard on WREK at 6 pm, as you brought up for Thursday. Bless you!

This seems like good news for us. We tried to do the right thing and sniffed around when we smelled something that didn't seem quite right. But all along the way Joseph thwarted Tech behind the scenes. So eventually we fired her.

Big win on the road tonight. Our Jackets played great for about 3 and a half quarters and then kinda let their foot off the gas playing keep away for the last 5 minutes. Probably the right call there not wanting to push it more than they had to in order to stay healthy and fresh for the next one. So proud of our girls. They are just on fire right now and won't be denied.

GT holds F$U to a season low 48 points. One more ACC win ties our all-time high in the conference(Sweet 16, 2011).
Hermosa has 3 more years left, should she want them all. Turning into a really nice post. Our bigs can pass, set screens.
Bates will be scheduled back in one week vs. UNCheat.
Both McD’s HS All-American games have been cancelled.

Georgia Tech (13-5, 11-4 ACC) is coming off a win at Florida State last Thursday, defeating the Seminoles, 62-48, to complete the regular season sweep. Three Jackets finished in double-figures led by Lorela Cubaj and Nerea Hermosa, each with 14 points. Cubaj notched her 10th double-double of the season behind a team-best 10 rebounds.

Boston College (5-10, 1-10 ACC) returns home to host the Jackets on Sunday after dropping a 77-60 decision at Miami last Thursday. The Eagles, who have lost six straight, are led by three averaging double-figures on the season. Taylor Soule leads BC on the season averaging 16.4 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.

The Jackets look to complete the regular season sweep over the Eagles on Sunday after taking the first meeting in McCamish Pavilion in December, 86-68. Tech has taken 11 of the last 13 meetings against BC and leads the all-time series, 14-6.

Richard will have the call at 1:45 p.m. on WREK. That groovy radio station with crazy commercialized previews of upcoming programming.

Loyal McQueen, in the 2k point club at Wilson HS, was coached by her father...who is none other than former WF 6’11” center, Cozell McQueen.

Cam Schwartz is making GT pay for not offering her before she went to Colorado and now surfacing at BC.

Correction, Derrick is Loyal’s dad and played at WF. Cozell was at NC St.

My son laughed at me this morning, when I told him the travel coupled with only two days off since the FSU game would get us upset today.

Extremely disappointing loss today. If we're a bubble NCAA team, this bursts our bubble. Fortunately, we've played our way into the field. Now just can't play our way out of it.
