*womenOur girls are up big at the half 40-27 against the orange. We're looking like a 5 seed in the tourney tonight.
Really? That's what you have to say?*women
Am I wrong? If so, what is the correct way to refer to the Georgia Tech Women's basketball team? Are they still "girls" in their 20's? Is Jose Alvarado still a boy?Really? That's what you have to say?
I understand your point. 'Young man" and "young woman" are good descriptors of people in their 20's. But "boys" and "girls" is disrespectful and viewed as an insult by many.I’m old enough that anyone under the age of 35 is a kid, so boys and girls sound about right to me.
Coach Heppler, GT GolfIs there a legit argument for any coach at GT right now being better at their job than Nell? (maybe one of the tennis coaches?)
That was my first response.Coach Heppler, GT Golf
Nice to see the Women's Hoops team keep at it!
Yeah. Not trying to diminish how quickly Nell is pushing things forward. That was my first response.
But Nell has done a great job, and looking forward to what our Women can accomplish this year!
Actually......yeah. There really isn’t any huge reason to make mountains out of molehills like that. The term is NOT derogatory.Am I wrong? If so, what is the correct way to refer to the Georgia Tech Women's basketball team? Are they still "girls" in their 20's? Is Jose Alvarado still a boy?
Then they need chill pills as well.I understand your point. 'Young man" and "young woman" are good descriptors of people in their 20's. But "boys" and "girls" is disrespectful and viewed as an insult by many.
