3. Gary Guyton - GG killed a Va Tech player on a punt return in his freshman year. It happened right in front of me so I'll never forget. it was the biggest hit I've seen in person.

Durant Brooks and Rodney Williams were both great punters. I'd have a hard time deciding between the two. Hard for a punter to beat out a place kicker though, even if it might be deserved.

Rodney Williams was fast as all get out too. That made him pretty good in coverage as well. If memory serves, he chased down some guys to save long returns that other punters simply wouldn't have. My only complaint about Williams was consistent hang time. Brooks had him in that regard.
