There is a cool rooftop beer garden on top of the Eataly on Fifth Ave about 25th near Flatiron. It is not far from the Awol Bar and Grill. If you have time and good weather, it is a good place for beer and cheeses. The Italian grocery on the main floor is great too.

I was in Manhattan for the 2014 COFH; the kick and the pick. We went to the tech alumni bar, and while I can't remember if it was AWOL (time and beer both make you forget things) but it looks like the right place based on the photos I can see.

The turnout was fantastic and the crowd was excited. I would absolutely recommend a visit. The NY Jackets were great.
