Gotta stay supportive, this rebuild wasn’t going to be easy. Love our guys, but turn on the television and I see visibly more talent at other Power 5 programs. It’s reality. We have a few players, but not enough. Next year we’ll have upgrades all over the field; transfers, recruits with actual impressive offer lists... our OC might be a joke, but he might look a h*** of a lot better with a qb that can throw it down the seam, hit a crosser in traffic, throw a back shoulder, stay in the pocket and go through a progression. I’m not giving up on all of our qbs, but we don’t have that right now and we don’t have an OL that can protect them or a lot of weapons to throw to yet. And yes, I realize we have better players than the Citadel, but this is the reality of being a bottom tier Power 5 program from a talent perspective. Remember our classes have been in the 40s for several years. It happens every week, teams with better players lose to teams with lesser talent for a variety of different reasons. We are one of those programs unfortunately, but we should’ve seen this coming, and it will slowly get better and the ceiling will be much higher than it has been for awhile. Regardless I’ll be at every home game from here on out. Go jackets!
