I opened this up ...... http://www.ramblinwreck.com/sports/m-basebl/spec-rel/051115aaa.html
and it looked like Kel was going to be pitching.

We need to save our pitchers for Thurs -Sat against Miami. And then probably Tues through whenever in the ACC tourney. I'd still guess Pitts or Parr start. But it really doesn't matter since they will be limited in innings / pitch count. Good time to let a lot of Fr pitch. I'd like the win, but we have more important games coming.

The dwags are probably out of the SEC (9-17) even with a sweep of Ar Kansas this weekend. So this is a much more important game to them. Piss on em. :mooning:

Any of you guys going to the Ted?

I'm assuming tickets can be purchased walk up?
I've been trying for 5 seasons to go with the kiddo, but standardized testing seemed to doom us by taking place the next day

Now we can go due to testing having already taken place

Oops, my mistake above. The SEC tournament is very selective. They take 12 of 14 teams. UGAg is 12th of 14 right now @ 500 -8. MSU is -9 and Tenn is -10. So they will have to save their pitching to some extent. Hopefully, UGAg will drop to 13th this weekend! With an RPI of 91, UGAg isn't going anywhere unless they win the SEC tourney..... if they make it.

I never want to lose to these f'ers in anything. Take the series for the season and let it propel you into the very important series against Miami. At this point of the season, every win is needed. Especially for Tech, who is on the bubble for the NCAA's.

The only "choice" we would have is to pitch King tonight. Then pitch him again to start the ACC tourney in the play in game. I'd much rather pitch King Friday and possibly get a win against a top 10 team @ their place and keep a faint hope alive of getting into the ACC top 6. Every win is needed, but Miami is worth a lot more!

UGAg has a 91 RPI. They are 15-9 out of conference http://warrennolan.com/baseball/2015/schedule/Georgia .... we are 19-4 without our weekend pitching. UGAg gives up an average of 5.4 runs a game. If they don't put their best pitcher in there - and they shouldn't want to mess up the rotation from Kentucky last weekend to Arkansas this weekend - we should be able to score enough runs to beat them.

I don't think anyone here wants to lose to UGAg. And we shouldn't. UGAg is where talent goes to die.

Ga Tech lineup:
Innis/LF
Bailey/2B
Gonzalez/3B
Murray/RF
Johnson/DH
Smith/1B
Peurifoy/CF
Pabst/C
Justus/SS

Spingola must be nursing his ankle.

Innis has been on fire so Spignola can stay out...... our outfield of Innis, Murray and Peurifoy is pretty stout .... really big outfield at Turner, Hall said Spignola will come in but he needs 100% speed out there.

Pitts is starting, we'll see how long he goes. Hall just said he hopes for 5 innings but expects to pitch a lot of guys tonight. Here's to hoping it's better!(y)

Hall said that we're going to try to win tonight but this weekend is critical for ACC and NCAAs.

Hall leaves Pitts in a bit too late again. Still.. we have come back from bigger deficits against better opposition.

UGA with a pitching change. Need to go after the new pitcher. Go Jackets!
