If #collegekickers is one of college football’s most popular memes, Harrison Butker made everyone forget about it for at least a few minutes. Georgia Tech’s sophomore drilled a 53-yard field goal as time expired to send this to overtime, where the Yellow Jackets scored a two-yard rushing touchdown and intercepted a Hutson Mason pass on second-and-goal to clinch their first win over Georgia since 2008. It was fitting ending to a game that also included a 99-yard fumble return for a score, a pair of blocked field goals, a successful fake field goal attempt and a pooch kickoff that functioned as an onside kick

I don't understand why the #1 game gets credit. It's between two teams who don't play defense, of course it's going to be high scoring. Check this stat out, the most plays TCU had in one drive is 8, and they scored 58 points

The GT-UGA game is the only one on the list without serious national title implications, so that alone should tell you how great of a game it was.

I think if Ole Miss had beaten Auburn and kept Treadwell they wouldn't have floundered to the finish line the way they did.

Take the article with the grain of salt it deserves. One guy's opinion is like a fart in the wind. Don't elevate to either gospel or heresy.
