Maybe the phrase was used simply to emphasize that his arm is good to go, because that was the concern much more than his legs.To be honest, I don’t love the “prepared to use his arm” line, because for us to win, we need both his arm and his legs. His running ability is one of those things that makes our offense hum and if it’s obvious to the defense that he is not going to run, that removes a huge dimension of our game. I hope it’s just silly semantics, and I hope I am making something out of nothing…because this is a key to the game, IMO.
