Both offense and defense just flat out killed it!
The coaches had these guys ready to win today!

You honestly knew something special was happening today when the student section got a full stadium YELLOW! JACKETS! call-and-response started organically. You could tell the defense was feeding off the crowd energy today.

Definitely a team win. The guys played hard and with heart today. I am glad they didn't allow a comeback after that effort. Efford tackling Ward and injuring himself showed the effort the guys played with today. So glad for the win for the players and coaches.

Specific comments. Special teams play was much better, especially punt coverage. Liked the fact that we went with a new punt returner. Wish we could clean up the KO return game a bit. Against athletic teams like the U, seems like we always start at the 15 when we elect to return kicks. When your O is running at over 5 ypc throughout the game, let's just start at the 25. Please.
