Super impressed overall by our coverage. Got beat a couple of times, but so does everybody. And let a lot of coverage-sack-esque situations develop.
The fumble was primarily caused by the coverage AND continuous fight by the 3 DL that we rushed. I have watched that play on replay several times. Their QB must have been holding the ball for 6 or 7 seconds before getting hit from behind by Height who had been doubleteamed. Their OL sort of gave up on the play and he didn't. That was the ballgame.

Cooley back from the dead twice!
First, after the opening kickoff of the year.
Then, today, after being nearly decapitated!
Can't believe he came back after that!
Steadying presence with game experience when it was sorely needed after the other RB injuries

Ward was really good at stepping away from pressure and buying more time all game and I think there maybe he had more to look at with 8 dropped and maybe also a bit complacent with only three rushing and assumed the OL would take better care of it. Or just the extra pressure too of the situation. In any case, amazing play all around,

Hated how the announcers pooh poohed it and made it just about “missing” a guy and ignoring the pressure

King has to prove he can throw a deep ball. It is far too obvious he isn't 100% throwing yet. I was surprised Miami didn't blitz more when Philo came in on 3rd downs. He had time which is a credit to our OL.

It seemed clear that Haynes is still a long way from healthy. I'd rather he get the additional week to prepare for uga.
I suspect it’s a labrum or something if it’s lingered since A&M, which won’t get much better with an additional week. HK needs to get surgery on it in the offseason but I’m proud of how he gutted it out today and I think he’ll get plenty of play against NC State.

We don't quite suck as much anymore.

Philo had a could of fantastic throws off his back foot when they did blitz. He played extremely well.

My thoughts too. He needs surgery.
