This series had a lot of plays and added length to the review time. This series does have some interesting plays and slow motion insights.

I do want to say that the 2nd to last play really looks a triple option after looking at JT's head direction. He is looking at the reads versus looking at the BBack. There may be a few errors in speech, but this series was too long to redo 3 to 4 times.

@Longestday I motion that your username be changed to Someyards. ;)

TD Play: One of the keys in PJ's old playbook for QB play is "Get the ball pitched to the tailback. Pitch the ball when the defensive reactions allow the ball to be pitched. Don't keep the ball for a five to six yard gain when the tailback would have gained thirty yards if the ball was pitched."

In this case the pitch key totally blows his assignment and turns in to look at Laskey getting gang-tackled without the ball. "Mentally set in motion the one way decision-making process. (Pitch, pitch, until the option man won't let me pitch the ball.)" Option man totally blows it, PITCH! TD!

So in summary, we are improving our execution week to week?

In summary, I only saw JT have one miss read that looked obvious the whole game... and that might have been a predetermined called give (I say this because it looked like an easy read and he did so well with so many TO reads).

The other 2 "miss" reads looked to have mitigating factors. The first was a pitch man was not in place and risked a fumble. The next one was a change up in assignments after 3/4 of the game and a "split" take of both QB and BB. If he did not give he would have lost 3 yards versus a gain of 2 yards. JT did great in the heat of the game and ran many triple options correctly with a lot of cross charing.
