It's a much different scheme. That's something you practice all year and use as your base.Zeke and Lockett would allow us to run a 3-3-5. We don't seem to be recruiting a 330+ # DL so far for Nose Tackle.

I don't believe Lockett has played this season. Last I heard he was healthy.Zeke and Lockett would allow us to run a 3-3-5. We don't seem to be recruiting a 330+ # DL so far for Nose Tackle.
Correct, he has not played this season.I don't believe Lockett has played this season. Last I heard he was healthy.
It also depends on whether the nose tackle is playing a zero technique or a 1 technique. If you don’t have a big nasty that can take on 2 holes in the middle, you’re not playing a 0-technique.It's a much different scheme. That's something you practice all year and use as your base.
Stuck down the depth chart based on comments made by some. I'd say at this point, medical redshirt might be in the offing. With Gore, Biggers, and Scott graduating this year (or out of eligibility), they may be holding him for next year. He, Jason Moore, and Jordan van den Berg will be leading the front 7 next year.Anyone know why Lockett is not playing

Van den Berg has really turned it up as the season has gone on. Lockett showed some flashes last year. Biggers will be hard to replace, but Lockett has the size/quickness to be great.Stuck down the depth chart based on comments made by some.
