(Mods, please move or delete if this is not allowed or in the wrong place.)

On this Giving Tuesday, if you're feeling so inclined and generous (after your contributions to the Competitive Drive 2.0 and the NIL Tech Way 😉) please consider tossing some support over to the GT Marching Band.

The School of Music is in the midst of working to raise $100k in order to send a 150 person band to Ireland next year for the game against f$u. For all of us that'll be making the trip across the pond, I think we can also all agree the larger/louder the GT Band we can bring to cancel out the nonstop war chant, the better!

Thanks and Go Jackets!

Not disagreeing, but how do you know? We (the band) have heard very little about what "they" want to do.

We haven't heard from GTAA if we're even taking a band. We really want to, and even if we are, we have no idea how many people will be going. We are trying to raise money with the anticipation that we'll be able to go and take as many people as possible, but we haven't heard anything concrete yet.

By working directly with the Chair of the School of Music, the Director of Athletic Bands (Chris) and the representative from the College of Design that is leading the Strategic Initiative to raise the funds.

The same information has also been publicly available via the Marching Band's website: https://marchingband.gatech.edu/
