Damn, I'll take that all day long. What's a good online betting site?

nevermind, read a little online and it's still too shady for my tastes. hopefully they make it legal in the states soon.

I expect the line to increase as the week progresses.

I think we win by 3 touchdowns or more

Well so far the line has moved to -8 and even -7.5 depending on where you look.

Just watched the Duke-Memphis game tonight. No reason we shouldn't handle them comfortably. I'd take any bet short of 13.

Guess we'll see which way the $ moves the spread... mildly shocked that it's only -8 or -7.5 though.

I expect us to win by 24 or more.

We have good practice against the option and have an improved QB/defense. Oh and our O-line should handle their Dline.

I expect us to get a turnover or two as well.

I think most unbiased followers of college football would see that as a reasonable spread for the following reasons -
    1) Home field is worth roughly 3 points. That means if this game were played at Bobby Dodd we'd be roughly 14 pt favorites.
    2) GT/Duke was a close game last year, one where Ray Beno arguably swayed momentum in our favor in the 3rd quarter (i.e., can't bank on that)
    3) GT was a 7-7 team last year and hasn't played anyone yet

Most on this board would probably agree that we expect to cover the spread based on expectations of an improved offense and defense this year. I hope opinions are not based on actual results from a game vs. Elon.

Don't forget the one thing we know for sure: a greatly improved kicking game. Make them go 75+ yards a pop and they won't score much.

The spread is back up to 8.5 to 9 pretty much everywhere as of now.
