VI Consensus reporting the spread at -5.5 pts... I'm not an expert so not sure if that's their open or if the spread already moved that direction.

Game makes me nervous. All UNC games have made me nervous. They have been shootouts the last three years.

This game will show us how improved our defense is. Also the offense can't get off to too slow a start. The extra time for UNC to prepare and CPJ feeling them out with the first 2 drives typically leads to a somewhat slow start. Overall, I'm not concerned with offensive points, just getting behind by 2-3 scores early.

FWIW, I think we win by 7 or less.

Oh do I remember. I picked 24-10 and the final score was 24-7, but UNC was in field goal range at the end of the game and instead went for it on fourth down. That rainstorm was also the remnants of the storm that flooded my house.

More on topic, though. I've never been to a rain game. How does carrying in umbrellas work? And where's the best place to get a poncho around campus?

Yeah, they have banned umbrellas now so poncho is the way to go. Maybe a gas station by the varsity?
