Great season by Georgia Southern... 10-3

10-3 in their first season with a bowl win in the first year under Chad Lunsford and the "shotgun option" brought in by Bob DeBesse… Turned them from 2-10 last year to 10-3 this year. Pretty crazy turn-around.

They return most of the team for next season as well.

Loved what they did with the offense this year. Shai Werts set a school record with 117 straight passes without a INT and GSU set a record for fewest turnovers in a season.

That offense would be an easy transition for our roster.

I think it's going to be very interesting to compare how GASO does next year vs G-Tech... since what they do at GASO is a modern translation of what GT has been doing for years. I will be keeping an eye on it.

I think Georgia Southern will be the favorite to win the Sunbelt Conference in 2019 with Scott Satterfield leaving Appalachian State for Loserville

I do believe 2019 will be the season that Georgia Southern breaks through and wins the Sun Belt Conference
