Barnes is one of the reasons I think Groh was such a complete failure at DC. He is a born one-gap DT and when he was a soph roumor had it that he was tearing up our OL regularly. Then Groh arrives and converts him to a position he really wasn't made to play - NT. And, sure enough, he only had sporadic success there.

If Roof had been our DC then, I get the feeling that TJ would have been all-ACC by the time he left us. Glad he's finally getting a chance in the pros.

How could he be playing in the NFL as a non Five Stars guy? Just another example of: if you're a football player and can play the NFL will find you.
