When he responded to the question "don't you want to throw the ball more" with "We had two receivers drafted last season, I think we’re doing fine.” I thought for a second the interview was being done with CPJ! He truly has, as CPJ stated, "bought in" and I hope that is rubbing off on all the QBs we have now and those we'll bring in during his tenure.

A good piece. And a very telling comment by Johnson about Thomas "buying in" to the option game, something he said he hasn't had before.

Indeed. I always point out to people who boast or hype themselves is that true greatness needs no shill. We are so lucky to have JeT.

I never really gave it much thought, but most of the great leaders I worked for were not very verbose. JeT would make a much better CEO than Winston would.

The only fault and objection I would find for the piece is that it ignored Thomas's own accomplishments -- rushing, passing, touchdowns, etc. -- and was pretty shallow in its explanation of "conducted" the offense. Writer seemed taken with him but did not seem to share our admiration of the beauty of the offense.

Thomas is a winner, just like when your in a pickup game and that one guy seems to always be on the winning team no matter the odds. The guy that always finds a way to make a play when needed and make everyone else play above their normal ability. Confidence is huge in team sports, and most people play longer into a game if they feel like they have a chance to win. Having Thomas I feel like our team has huge confidence that we're gonna win, we have Justin on our side. The good thing about JT is that with his deamenor you can't tell if he has given up, which I don't think he ever would. So the team keeps fighting. The uGA game may be the exception but JT put that all on him and he just knew that the opportunity to make up for it was over. He still did make up for it and the rest is history.
