I actually think we have a decent shot at N C State if we play a clean game (which we have yet to do, I'll admit). We have had their number in recent years and I don't think their talent level is that much greater than ours.

I do not feel the same way about Pitt or Miami (although I will be shocked if Miami plays our game).

They are a decent team, but haven’t played a good game in a month. We absolutely can beat them, but we can’t keep having these 3 turnover games.

Looking at their schedule, they seem like they’re a very consistent team. They beat the teams they can beat, and give the other teams a good fight. I think that’s the sign of good coaching and experienced players.

I think we have a chance to beat them if our defense can put together a good performance and we don’t turn the ball over much on O. I’m thinking they’re pretty similar to Louisville’s level

Why should we win? State is decent this year. I think they have 6 conf wins already.
They're a decent team. They beat duke, they beat fsu. Either one is nothing to brag about, not even for us. They beat Liberty by 1. They're inconsistent and had to come back this past week in the second half. I don't see us letting them come back if we can get up early. They aren't good at all running the ball. They have been getting better with their pass game, but due to competition, I am not convinced.

They are allowing what 150+ rush yds and 250+ pass yds per game. Our rush will be much stronger than what they've faced. Who knows about the pass lol. Even IF gibbs is out, mixing Mason and Smith would be lethal to their D. I just think this game is very winnable, but then again, the team has to learn to win and stay focused.

They had the easiest schedule in the league this year so their record isn’t overly intimidating. And their fans don’t seem too confident skimming their board.

Problem is we’re so volatile. Wouldn’t be surprised to be +/-5 turnover margin either direction against them. So wouldn’t be surprised to beat them by 20 or lose by the same margin.

Not having Gibbs will hurt, but I think we still have a competent run game as long as 2 of Gibbs/Mason/Griffin/Smith are ready to go.

Louisville had 3 turnovers in the Tech game. Tech won by 19 points (3 touchdowns). I think Louisville and NC State are pretty even teams, so turnover margin and special teams play will probably determine the outcome of the game.

Interestingly enough, Tech, Louisville, and NC State all have a common opponent in Syracuse.

Louisville beat Syracuse 30-0
NC State beat Syracuse 36-29
Tech lost to Syracuse 37-20

The turnover margins in those games?
Louisville-3/Syracuse-3/net 0
NC State-2/Syracuse-0/Cuse +2
Tech-5/Syracuse-1/Cuse +4

The ACC is so incredibly evenly matched that any team really can win on any given day.
