They were placed too far from the endline so FT's were actually 16 feet.
And in typical GA fashion the response is basically, everyone had to play with it so it didn't matter. Really, that's the best you can do, and when brought to your attention you refused to take an hour to get them set properly.

So typical. Sure, it was equally wrong for both sides but how about correcting the problem just for the sake of doing it right?

And why would it take a full hour anyway? That yokel just didn't want to deal with the embarrassment of having to correct the problem in front of all those people.

I bet if the football field had been lined incorrectly they wouldve moved heaven and earth to fix it.

What a clown show. Games shld be at GT and they know it. As i said before, no way football would have to put up with that nonsense.

It would be nice to have the game at GT, because I'm sure the kids would appreciate a quality facility & it's a great advertisement for us with top in-state players, but not sure those logistics will work for us year in year out, relative to how the ACC schedules us.

As mentioned in the article, teams that play largely inside would have an advantage over teams that were outside shooting teams. the responses are awesome by the way.
