Our running game returns after being shut down last week, allowing Pyron to better show his skills with a more balanced offense. We win this one by 14+ and look really good doing it in our classic and elegant GWG unis.

From an offense and defense efficiency standpoint this game favors VT.

GT: 59th in offensive efficiency (with Haynes King) and 45th in defensive efficiency.

VT: 20th in offensive efficiency and 46th in defensive eficiency

A spread of 10.5 is probably about right and while I will not bet this one, I think the Jackets can keep it within a touchdown.

Caveat: if we hear that Pyron can not go, grab VT minus 10.5

I think we can count on Pyron to make a lot of good plays.
Defense could struggle again without Efford though. Think the game could be decided by his presence.

VT is finding their stride and are playing like a top 25 team. No prediction

Wouldn't surprise me a bit. Tech hasn't lost two in a row since Brent took over and has won four straight in Blacksburg. Gonna make it five.

I will go with Tech - 31 VPISU - 24. For you gamblers who are data mining and/or looking for an edge this weekend, please note that we are .500 outright this season when I pick us to win 31-24. But note that past performance does not guarantee future results so use this at your discretion.

Right now, I’ll say VT 38-GT 31.

If we fixed our tackling, we win, but last week looked rough.

You may boo this prediction

Our biggest weakness, by far, is the lack of a pass rush. Their QB, while not great is OK when given time. Their RB is really good. Tackling in space will be important. Close game IF we pressure the QB and tackle better than ND. Our O nedds to eat time and score 28 pts to win.
