I like the way CBK addresses things. He's just authentic in his approach. He's not a speaking circuit hero, he's a football coach. He calls it like it is: "We just have to prepare the team for those packages better," or "We show that we can do it, but we can't just flip as switch and duct tape it up, we just have to go back to work to be consistent." That's all it is - just getting back to work and preparing better and working to establish consistency."

It's a work in progress. I'm confident they are working on it. What I (thankfully) do not hear is strings of hyperbolic statements. That is a good thing.
Yeah, none of this were getting better and better everyday and we are becoming an elite program. Owning deficiencies is important. Some of his comments were a little like CPJ who said more than once, “We can’t expect to just roll our helmets out on the field and expect to win.”

Anyone else pissed that these always start with an ad as a part of an NIL deal from a player on "the other team"!!! First off, we should be able to have somebody sponsor an ad from one of our players. However, at a minimum use ANY OTHER ad instead of one from the rival team!
I tweeted about this last last Saturday and tagged J Batt. Even on our live gameday audio on the app. First voice you hear is Malaki Starks. I think it’s a 680 thing.

I'm going to guess that we might not have full control of the ad placements. A lot of times with ads on content sites or programs on digital networks the ad placements are done by bidding and various algorithms and while I'm sure the network offers the ability to buy specific ad placements on specific pieces of their content they MIGHT not target them as specifically as you'd think. For example, I listen to that and I get an ad for a credit union in Georgia with two UGA players on it. While infuriating it also lets me know not to use that credit union. But I digress. I am pretty sure I'm getting that ad because the network knows that program is of interest likely to people in Georgia who are also interested in college football so it automatically places that specific ad into that ad slot.

I could be all wrong, of course. But that's how a lot of digital ad placement works in the rest of the world even though that's a GROSSLY oversimplified description. Sorry if that's something you all already know but I thought I'd share just in case someone didn't.

For anyone not aware...

After years of Charmin soft non-conference schedules, North Carolina HC Mack Brown has pounded his chest this year about his team's schedule that includes Minnesota (4-3), South Carolina (2-5) and App State (3-4).

In the preseason he said: https://www.on3.com/college/north-c...ore-non-conference-national-television-games/

Despite saying unequivocally that "it won't be mentioned again after today," Mack Brown stated during his post-Minnesota game, on-field interview that "unlike us, nobody plays a tough nonconference schedule anymore" (paraphrased).

So much in there to pick apart...
He probably believes that stuff.
