The concern is either that Tech’s had its weaknesses fully exposed to be exploited by all future teams, or the team has had their confidence fatally damaged.

Otherwise, no way Tech can lose.

Dang, CPJ was 8-3 in HC games. None of them were Sisters of the Poor that teams use schedule for HC games.

That would be awesome and I’m not even kidding. Line up in flex bone and run a jet toss outside. Then run a midline option. And on third down go back to a conventional formation and run a QB draw.

Its a great idea but we would have to call a time out so he could get in someone’s face mask for the missed blocking assignment. A great gesture in theory but I’m not sure bad option football would be a great honor.

Added bonus might be that an a** chewin from PJ might be a great motivational tool for our OL.

When they announced CPJ was coming back for this game, I said Key and Faulkner needed to buy a bunch of buffalo wings (CPJ is a big fan of wings), a six pack, and all three of them need to sit in the film room and study some of CPJ's schemes. Blocking has to be adjusted due to the new blocking rules, but some of CPJ's concepts would still be devastating today.

I wish I had your confidence. I want to, but my head won't let me. Perhaps if we hadn't been steamrolled by BC in the 4th qtr, I would be more excited.

I wouldn't say confidence, more like delusion. After watching the Syracuse game, I think that we can beat them, UVA, and then get a big one out of nowhere for a surprise bowl game.

Anyone else pissed that these always start with an ad as a part of an NIL deal from a player on "the other team"!!! First off, we should be able to have somebody sponsor an ad from one of our players. However, at a minimum use ANY OTHER ad instead of one from the rival team!

Yeah pretty sure I saw the investco qqq ad on TV this year with ugag instead of tech. But it is the Tech radio show podcasts (coaches show and Good word) that both have started all year with an ad from a ugag player. The first part of the year it was Bowers and now it's a DB. There are plenty of Tech related ads during the broadcast so it's bull**** that EVERY podcast from those shows start with a ugag player promotion that gives money to their players.

I like the way CBK addresses things. He's just authentic in his approach. He's not a speaking circuit hero, he's a football coach. He calls it like it is: "We just have to prepare the team for those packages better," or "We show that we can do it, but we can't just flip as switch and duct tape it up, we just have to go back to work to be consistent." That's all it is - just getting back to work and preparing better and working to establish consistency."

It's a work in progress. I'm confident they are working on it. What I (thankfully) do not hear is strings of hyperbolic statements. That is a good thing.
