I was VERY pissed off following this game. They basically gave the game to ND with crappy calls. I remember being highly intoxicated and screaming/talking trash to ND fans. They knew they were given that W and wouldn't even admit it.

They were given the game in '97 as well.

Hmm...let's see. Gameday is a product of ESPN. Ole Miss vs 'Bama is on ESPN. ESPN has $$$ interest in the SEC Network. GT vs ND will be on NBC.

So what makes more business sense for ESPN/Gameday? Tout and promote Gameday and the Ole Miss/'Bama game all week on one of their channels, or promote a game all week that will be televised on a rival network?
