Full Circle: For Shaq Mason’s mom, Super Bowl in Atlanta holds special meaning

Alicia McGuire will never forget the emotions the day she dropped her “baby” off for college for the first time.

Mason was that “baby,” a big baby, at 6-foot-1 and 300 pounds.

“It was emotional,” said McGuire, Mason’s mother. “Even though it was four hours away, it was still dropping off my baby. I just had to trust in him and let him go.”

It would be a pretty nice graphic in the Edge Center (if not already there) to have a large photo of all of the Super Bowl Rings these guys have won. Even better, if we had a presentation with actual super bowl ring copies next to each of these guy's bios at GT.
