Two guys to watch.

DE Mario Edwards JR...against us in 2012 he had 7 tackles as a true FR...he is a 6'3 295 end.

at DT...Eddie Goldman is a monster. 6-4 320.

Hubris can be a dangerous thing gentlemen. FSU's team is going to come to make a statement in the championship game. There is talk of them NOT being a lock even if they win.

I can tell you they are going to be fired up and playing for the whole thing. Plus let's not forget - if we don't execute at an extremely high level it is going to be a L-O-N-G day.

All of this, squared...... They have the talent edge, and it ain't even close, so if they choose to finally play their "A" game, we could be in for a LONG day..... Hoping they continue to "phone it in", and our guys hit them in the mouth while they are phoning it in.....

I have been telling everyone that I know that I don't know when or against who, but Florida State is going to put it all together and put up a big number in a game this year. I'm hoping it's not this Saturday (and I don't believe it will be either). They have showed glimpses too many times of what they can be when the screws are tightened.

They are talented but they were talented in 2012 too and we weren't as good of a team by any stretch. Unless they can play disciplined, which based on their off the field actions seems unlikely so I think we'll have a lot of success, and jameis isn't great. I'm worried about O'leary and #4 who reminds me of Andre Ellington, but other than that I think we match up at every position just fine.

If 2 teams truly play their A game, and one of those teams has bigger, faster athletes, in general, that team will win. Like I said, hopefully FreeShoes will play like FreeShoes has played all year, and we will continue to roll......but, we probably will need some turnovers as we have needed throughout the season....

I do not want a Tech win based on the other team failing to show up. We are better than that.

We beat VPI and Miami when they both "were still good," and we beat uga when they were starting to really come on strong (see Auburn game) and we beat Clemson after they had finally started hitting on all cylinders.

I want us to play the game we are capable of playing no more, no less. I am not asking anything from the other team. If they are better than us then so be it.

We have beaten several teams with decided talent advantages: Miami, VT, Clemson, Uga.

Yes, and I would say that none of them played their "A" game, but that is my opinion. Of course, our effort assisted them in not performing at a higher level. Semantics either way.

Again, if both teams play to their full potential, and one team has a decided talent advantage, it is logical (especially to a GT engineer) who should win. But, we are getting close to our maximum because of our players and coaches, and these teams are NOT. I am hoping FSU will continue their lackluster play also.
