Can you summarize for those of us not willing to give out our email address to yet another spam merchant?

I ran into a paywall for that article and wasn’t able to scroll without providing them with info.

Here’s a UNC podcast that isn’t paywalled: https://247sports.com/college/north...rth-carolina-football-georgia-tech-219112583/

It's 80% criticism of UNC’s defense, but they had some interesting comments about how it appeared that GT's defense, after getting repeatedly gashed by UNC's rushing attack, made adjustments toward the end of the 3rd quarter. After that, their last 9 runs were for 2, 2, 0, 3, 6, 1, 0, 2, and 3 yards. As bad as our defense was, kudos to us for actually making adjustments (assuming we did and the stats aren’t just an anomaly) and playing 4 quarters for a change. We stopped them when it really counted.

I wondered about that too, Roadkill. At the beginning of the game we couldn't stop their runs and couldn't run it ourselves. At the end it was reversed. I'd like to think it was because we had adjusted.

Perhaps someone more knowledgeable than I regarding defensive alignments and such can chime in on how/if we changed.

I had the feeling they wanted to establish the run to pull our safeties up to open up the passing game. Surprised they didn't stay with what was working a lot longer. We did a pretty good job against the run in the 2nd half.
