Freddie Burden's Father

passed away this afternoon. He has been in the hospital in Atlanta since February waiting on a heart transplant.

EARLY this year coach told freddie to take off any time he needed to go see his dad who was in hospitaL under long term care. Coach is a good man.

Glad we have coach moore too .

Freddies dad played ball . Bet his son made him very proud. His long struggle is over.

Tragic news. To go from the hope of solving his dad's illness to losing him before the possible cure could be administered must have been a crushing blow to the entire family.

Wow... this is terrible. I hadn't heard anything on this in a while after the transplant news and was kind of hoping no news was good news. Hope he knows outside of his teammates the GT family is here for him.
