There are two things to know about Swarm threads:

Politics are a definite NO NO. In every thread except the politics forum.
Ice cream, especially when commenting about Mayfield and @kg01 is OK in every thread.

Thread hijacking is an acquired skill with Swarm posters, and the mods will let you have very little leeway if your theft isn't throttled quickly by the crowd.

JT5 is in my top ten, but you have to have seen Nesbitt in action to know why he is my favorite. A real dude all the way.
Yeah, but do you like your BBQ sauce vinegar based or tomato based?

This is about Josh Fing Nesbit show some respect to the OG. Start a thread about Justin if you want to sing his praises which are all warranted, but again this all about the man in the title of the thread.
I started the #%^* thread. My thread, not yours. When I want your comment about what I post in my thread I’ll ask you. Until then just shut up and post something about JFN.

Next.

Settle down big man. If I'd looked at who started the thread and then saw you forgot what YOUR thread was about I would not have posted. I apologize.

I really liked to watch Nesbitt play once he truly mastered the spread option. That took a year and the difference was dramatic.

Another thing I liked about Nesbitt was the he knew his limits and adopted his style of play (with Paul's help) to maximize his skills. I remember watching him play when he was a frosh under Chan. It was obvious that a) he could run and b) that his long throws were a good deal more accurate then his short ones. (I think this was due to arm strength more than anything else; he looked like he was guiding his short throws.) But once he got his legs under him in the option, he was pure murder. It was tragic that his last season got cut short by a broken arm, but the way he got it - a hard tackle - was Josh all over.

That was my first year at Tech...cant believe its been 15 years!! Feels like yesterday I was watching Nesbitt and Dwyer punish linebackers in the stands with all my roommates. I forget a lot of games throughout the years, but I remember every game from 09.

What is interesting is if it wasn't for CPJ's offense JFN probably never plays QB at any school. If I remember correctly Tech was one of the only schools that recruited him as a QB. Most wanted him at other positions. And, at the risk of Stinger 78's wrath, same goes for JT5. Alabama had him committed as a DB.
