Did you guys see who spoke to the team about BayBay? None other than JN! Man, that dude’s been out of Tech for almost 15 years and still looks like he could suit up. One of my top 3 all-time QB’s for his fire and heart and willingness to lay it all out on the field. As a starter 08-10, he won about 25 games in 2.5 seasons.

The first time I saw him play was in the spring game of his freshman year and I made the comment to my son that he is indeed a man among boys, and he proved it every season he played.

One of my all time favorites. Key talks a lot about wanting a tough team. It makes sense to bring one of the toughest to ever do it back to address the team. When you see your qb willing to put it all on the line that inspires everybody else.

Josh was a beast. He was the reason Paul had the record he had. You can have JD, Bebe, DM, even Morgan, but it doesn’t happen if Josh isn't the first QB in that era. Damn he was tough. The FSU play will last forever.

JFN is easily the most gritty, hard nose player I've ever seen. He is the first CPJ QB we had and turned me on to CPJ's offense. He embodied everything a QB should be - JFN is the apogee of the CPJ era and will always hold a special place in my memories.

Yes, but I would add that JT5 was, too. JFN won 25 games (maybe 24 as he was hurt one game). JT5 won 23 games due to only 3 wins during the horribly injury-ridden 2015 season. That season had 5-6 one score losses and beat an undefeated F$U in epic fashion.

There are two things to know about Swarm threads:

Politics are a definite NO NO. In every thread except the politics forum.
Ice cream, especially when commenting about Mayfield and @kg01 is OK in every thread.

Thread hijacking is an acquired skill with Swarm posters, and the mods will let you have very little leeway if your theft isn't throttled quickly by the crowd.

JT5 is in my top ten, but you have to have seen Nesbitt in action to know why he is my favorite. A real dude all the way.
