He had to do something. If Saban hadn't retired and Norvell hadn't had that season last year, he would have been fired this year.Bama was interested in him to replace Saban and FSU panicked with a huge contract. They just can't afford his $60M buyout now. The AD should be fired.

This guy has been the anchor of their class. He’s been calling out decommits and reaffirming his fsu commitment pretty much every week. They might have to restart their entire class from scratch soon.

FYI, I saw a stat this week that FSU's record is the worst ever for a team that started in the Top 10 of the AP Poll (that goes back to something like 1936).

Norvell is now 3-16 at FSU in games Jordan Travis did not start. 29-10 in games Travis did start.
He is also 20-20 overall in ACC Regular Season Games, and 1-13 in ACC games that Travis did not start. (2-13 if you include the ACC Championship Game last year)
