On the down side.
Against LSU in the Peach Bowl
Which one?
I went to both - where Rohan Davey came out in the second half to lead LSU and Godsey got hurt on the last series. And to the utter beatdown we got from a LSU team full of NFL guys to cap PJ's first year.
I was at the Orange Bowl with Iowa too. And at 4 am, the fire alarms went off in the hotel, so we had to go stand outside in the cold for a while as they figured out nothing was terribly wrong. That Iowa front 7 - Adrian Clayborn, Pat Angerer - was loaded as hell too.

From the last Gator (Taxslayer) Bowl appearance, did anyone see the clip of the team at TopGolf - with the players struggling mightily to make contact and in the next booth over, PJ is smoothing mid irons down range.
They didn't ask Coach for tips?

This story reminds of a friend years ago at my first job out of Tech. Robert was a good athlete (played FB at FAMU and was invited to the Cowboys camp as an UDFA). We played on our company's industrial league softball team. Robert always made fun of golf, said it wasn't even a sport. So I challenged him to give it a try. Said I'd pay for everything - greens fees, lunch, beers afterwards, etc. His thing was always "how hard can it be to hit a ball that is sitting still?". So we went. Played 4 holes. On the 5th tee, he said to me "if we quit now, I'll refund the greens fees, buy lunch and beer, and promise to keep my mouth shut about golf being easy". So we did. And he bought lunch and beers, refunded my money and kept his promise. Never heard another peep about how golf wasn't an athletic endeavor. Hitting a ball that isn't moving surely does look easy. I get that. But i'd rather be Scottie Scheffler than Patrick Mahomes or Josh Allen. Scottie will retire with more money and more importantly, less wear and tear on the body.

As a fan, 1991 Citrus Bowl win..... listening to it the scratchy broadcast on AFRTS Radio in my flat in London... three weeks before Desert Storm kicked off....hey - some people went to the desert, I went to London.... if it wasn't me, someone else would've been in my place... that's why they call it "Naval Intelligence."

As a player, the 1970 Sun Bowl vs Texas Tech, in spite of the utter BS Carson put us through during Finals Week.

Least favorite: Obviously the 1971 Peach/Mud Bowl vs Ole Miss.
Was that the Donny Anderson days with TT?
