I have been an Atlanta homer all my life, mostly to my own detriment. Nique and the Hawks, Murph and the Braves, Price and the awesome GT teams, and William Andrews leading the charge for the Falcons. I was a young boy laying on the back window deck of the car with my ear pressed to the AM speaker, riding past old Fulton County stadium, when Danny White and Drew Pearson introduced me to Falcons fandom heartbreak.

Being a Falcons fan is hard. Watching my team cash in a good defensive effort while losing to a backup Bulldog, who can't finesse toss a simple out route, just sucks.

I hope the Braves make the playoffs.
I hate the Mets. And Dodgers. And Giants.

They’re still doing Falcony things… watching it out of ATL skylounge today.

It is amazing how quick they can turnaround MBS from yesterday evening to today. I hate GT playing there but have to tip my hat to the folks that work there.

I didn't get to see the game today, but I did see we had one whole sack. The perpetual disappointment of an Atlanta sports fan.....

Once again, we win, but seemingly in spite of the team's effort to give it away. Winning is better than losing, but the winning ugly makes the fan-coaches want to make corrections, improvements, changes, fire coaches, etc.....
Lots of that going on with our favorite college team.

Since the Falcons are playing the Saints this weekend, I feel the need to share a bit of Saints trivia. Derek Carr is the QB for the Saints. In his career as a starting QB he has lost to 31 of the 32 NFL teams. The only team he has not lost to is the Raiders, his former team. Granted, nothing is guaranteed when the Raiders are playing, but Carr might get that chance on Dec 29 when the Raiders visit NOLA in what will likely be an almost empty Superdome. If Carr attains that distinction, he will be the first NFL QB to have lost to every team in the league.

If Carr avoids that infamy, there is another QB in the running (so to speak). Colts QB Joe Flacco has lost to 30 of the 32 teams. One of the two teams he has avoided is the Lions. Needless to say, Detroit will be heavily favored in that game on Nov 24th. The other team is Tampa Bay, who the Colts won't play this year. Unless,,,,, and this is very unlikely, both make the playoffs and survive to the Super Bowl.

Related, it's a family legacy...

So that pretty ex-playoff girlfriend woke up today with a nasty case of falcony hair. It's a good thing that I'm a homer or I'd give up on this team.....
