I heard he was going to Dallas Cowboys.FWIW, I read an article saying that Coach Prime might be going back to his Alma Mater.

i do, all he has to do is mail it in one more season, then he can go party with Jimbo and Ed Ogeron on his own private islandGiven the expectations of FSU, I don't envy Norvell's position.
FSU is like Auburn and maybe Fla...a good looking job - but only on paper. There are structural problems at both schools (too many chiefs, not enough Indians or said another way, it's unclear whether the programs are run by boosters or the AD) that make each NOT a place where success is sustainable imo. Yes, give them a Cam Newton or Jameis Winston you may catch lightning in a bottle (but that is true of so many other schools as well). I am surprised that an up and comer like Norvell at the time settled for that job, unless it was all about the $$$. But again, you can get FSU money elsewhere. Of course, when Norvell leaves (whether voluntarily or not) there will be someone who thinks that they are different than the predecessors who thinks that they can do the job where others could not. FSU (like Auburn) needs to hire a seasoned vet like Saban who can come in and demand and get structural changes if they want to end the cycle of hiring/firing coaches. Saban created a structure and culture both inside and outside the walls of his program where success could be achieved.Given the expectations of FSU, I don't envy Norvell's position. Who would have thought GT would be in a stronger position after 2024?
They've got a couple of problems don't they?I mean how are they going to afford leaving the ACC if they spend all their money on firing coaches?
Smartest thing they could do now is drop the lawsuit. Things are likely to change with conference affiliations anyway.
