Georgia Tech continues to shock us all. Who saw this coming? The Yellow Jackets routed Clemson to get their fourth straight win and improved to 9-2 on the season before their season finale against rival Georgia. They finish 6-2 in ACC play and have a shot at the ACC title after Duke's loss at Virginia Tech. The Blue Devils are 4-2 in league play and will hold the head-to-head tiebreaker if they win out.

Georgia Tech’s secondary:Deshaun Watson’s injury killed Clemson’s offensive momentum, but it was the Yellow Jackets’ secondary that really made the Tigers pay in a 28-6 victory. Jamal Golden returned an interception 85 yards for a TD in the first quarter and Chris Milton followed with a 62-yard pick six in the third to supply all the scoring Georgia Tech would need to upend Clemson. After Watson left the game, Clemson’s QBs were a combined 7-for-15 for 38 yards and three interceptions. Meanwhile, Georgia Tech’s D has scored six times this season, and the Yellow Jackets have racked up 116 points off turnovers, second-most in the nation.

Corporate media wrong again... Are they ever right? Or is this like a cold reading and if they say enough, they will eventually get some right?

Pitt putting a physical pounding on UNC QB doesn't help us in the quick turnaround Thursday night game if true. Hope he's not banged / bruised up.

Who saw this coming? Uhh...anybody that uses history as a guide? When's the last time we were below .500 in ACC play, the mid 90s? All PJ has done is finish 1st in the Coastal 4/7 times, but the media will probably disrespect us again next year. If UNC beats Duke this week I bet we hear the same thing we did last year during their late season turnaround and they get picked to win the division yet again next year, perhaps splitting votes with Miami.

Wonder if we will finally get a preseason prediction for 2015 that comes close to being accurate? Not holding my breath but if we are just picked 2nd it would be a nice acknowledgement that attitudes have been adjusted a bit.

Actually, I do think Miami will be formidable next year.

Duke, not so much.

Miami is supposed to be formidable every year...along with UNC. Somehow those two teams never seem to live up to their recruiting rankings.
